DMO IV Melchor Gonzales of DENR – CENRO Alaminos, Alaminos City provided assistance when the information was relayed to them by PSI Dennis B. Cabigat, the Officer-In-Charge, Dasol Municipal Police Station, Dasol, Pangasinan.
A copy of the Ore Transport Permit (OTP) issued by the Provincial Mining Regulatory Board of the Province of Isabela was presented to Engrs. Renato A.D. Rimando and Romualdo P. Rosario of MGB I.
As indicated in the OTP, the trucks contain mine tailingswaste materials and sources from Brgy. Anonang, Cordon, Isabela.
After finding certain defects/inconsistencies in the OTP, the apprehending officers decided to seize the trucks and its cargo with an estimated volume of 200 cu. m., more or less.
All the seized articles are now in the custody of the Dasol Municipal Police Station, Dasol, Pangasinan.
A final confiscation hearing is set on Monday, 05 September 2016.

12 units of ten-wheeler dump trucks were initially flagged down by the members of the Philippine National Police, Pangasinan Province Police Office – Dasol Municipal Police Station in Brgy. Poblacion, Dasol, Pangasinan on 31 August 2016.

After seizure of the cargoes and the conveyances used Engr. Romualdo P. Rosario logged in the driver’s licenses taken from the truck drivers.
